Imagination Hong Kong was tasked with building the GE Innovation Centre Chengdu, a space designed to invite VIPs and dignitaries to explore GE's global offerings and showcase the company's significant impact on industry. The Centre's experience focused on customer action and outcomes, ensuring visitors actively engage and leave with a deeper understanding of GE’s innovations.
Idea
The concept was to inspire and engage visitors with the brand through high-tech devices, screens, and touch-points featuring powerful graphic simulations that were both entertaining and educational. We infused innovative concepts with GE's scale and expertise to develop an interactive space where diverse ideas are nurtured, and customers are encouraged to connect with the broader innovation ecosystem across the region.
As the lead UI designer for Imagination's Sydney office, I was responsible for creating groundbreaking interfaces that would inspire users and push the limits of interactivity for a future-inspired technology centre. The design integrated advanced technology with intuitive user experiences, making the Centre a showcase of GE’s innovation in a collaborative environment across six countries, thus fostering deeper connections with customers.
